The Goldman Sachs Asset Management Division is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support its Private Equity Investing team. This is an excellent opportunity that requires the ability to multitask effectively and be proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proactive, solution-oriented support for a team of staff, providing high-quality, timely, and well-organized administrative support and services. Assisting with project work as needed.
The EA will support the Private Equity team, which is based in Mumbai.

Tasks

  • Extensive, complex schedule management, including coordination of internal and external meetings, calls, and video conferences.
  • Maintain team schedules and contacts
  • Answering the phone is a priority; provide accurate and prompt messages and assistance
  • Extensive travel; book flights and accommodations for the team, including knowledge of and awareness regarding the whereabouts of bankers, relevant client activities, and travel policy guidelines
  • Expenses: Accurately complete expense reports for the team
  • Coordinate couriers and outgoing mail; distribute incoming mail
  • General administrative tasks, including document preparation (Word) as needed; ad hoc project work
  • Client entertainment: organize ad hoc lunches and dinners; work with the Events Manager and the Investing team to invite clients to GS events
  • Actively foster a cohesive work environment within the EA team; work effectively with other EAs to ensure coverage during lunch breaks and other absences
  • Build and maintain relationships with staff in offshore offices

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of corporate experience, ideally with an investment bank, asset manager, private equity firm, or within the financial services industry
  • Must be able to work proactively in a fast-paced and demanding environment and have the ability to prioritize a heavy workload
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results
  • Demonstrates the highest standards of professionalism and maturity, as well as the ability to contribute ideas and experience to tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively at all levels Proactive, punctual, reliable, and a team player, with a willingness to assist other members of the executive assistant team
  • Be a good team player who is willing and ready to help your peers ensure smooth daily operations in the office
  • Business acumen and financial awareness
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Advanced Outlook skills required for managing contacts and scheduling appointments, including time zones
  • Advanced skills in Word, including mail merge and working with long, complex documents
  • Intermediate Excel skills for general reporting and maintaining records
