GIC is one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds. With over 2,000 employees across 11 locations around the world, we invest in more than 40 countries globally across asset classes and businesses. Working at GIC gives you exposure to an extraordinary network of the world’s industry leaders. As a leading global long-term investor, we Work at the Point of Impact for Singapore’s financial future, and the communities we invest in worldwide.

Fixed Income & Multi Asset

Our team employs a broad range of investment strategies that span macro, credit, and quantitative investing, including multi-asset, benchmark-agnostic, constrained, indexed, and thematic strategies.

We are looking for an investment professional with investing and/or market risk background to join our in-business Risk Management function that partners closely with portfolio managers to embed disciplined risk oversight across the full breadth of fixed income and multi-asset portfolios. This forms part of FIMA’s Chief Investment Officer’s Office (CIOO). The candidate will provide cross-asset risk coverage across fixed income and multi-asset portfolios spanning Global Macro, Corporate Credit, and Structured Finance businesses, reporting to FIMA’s CIOO Head of Risk. The candidate is expected to provide independent risk analysis and advice to FIMA’s business heads and senior leadership.

Aufgaben

  • Lead top-down portfolio and risk analytics coverage across fixed income strategies, providing independent insights on portfolio construction, performance drivers, and risk exposures.
  • Partner closely with portfolio managers across global offices (New York, London & Singapore) to deliver actionable analytics that inform investment decisions and capital allocation.
  • Oversee performance attribution analysis to identify key sources of alpha, beta, and risk, and communicate findings to investment committees and senior management.
  • Conduct scenario and stress testing to evaluate portfolio resilience under different macroeconomic and market conditions.
  • Develop and enhance portfolio monitoring frameworks and dashboards to track exposures, factor sensitivities, and performance trends across strategies.
  • Collaborate with GIC’s second-line risk function (RPMD) to align in-business risk management practices with firm-wide standards and best practices.

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

  • At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in portfolio analysis, risk management, or performance attribution within fixed income or multi-asset investing.
  • Technically proficient in fixed income instruments with broad understanding of portfolio construction methods across rates and credit. Additional experience in structured and alternative products is an added advantage.
  • Passion for portfolio analysis and risk management, with experience working alongside investment teams and presenting to investment committees.
  • Proficiency in industry risk and analytics platforms (e.g., Aladdin, Bloomberg) is advantageous.
  • Skilled in analyzing large and complex data sets using relevant programming tools (e.g., Python, SQL), and the ability to build models, reports, and dashboards that support real-time decision making.
  • A strong team mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to proactively engage with key internal stakeholders and external partners as relevant.

Das erwartet Sie

At GIC, we believe sustainable high performance is driven by high expectations and a commitment to excellence, as well as empowerment and flexibility. As such, we currently operate under a hybrid model in which employees spend 4 days in office and 1 day working from home each week. This balance allows us to preserve the ‘office as a hub’ for ideation, professional growth, and interpersonal connection, while giving our employees the flexibility to do their best work and be their best selves.
