Hedge Fund Analyst (m|f|x) Genf

The Institutional Hedge Fund Solutions (IHFS) team at Bank J. Safra Sarasin oversees manager selection, portfolio construction, and risk management across complex alternative investment mandates globally. As a Hedge Fund Analyst within IHFS, you will operate at the core of a selective, performance-driven investment platform, working closely with Portfolio Managers and senior leadership. In this role, you will support the team across all client-related, portfolio management, and operational matters, while providing ongoing support to the Bank’s front units. Based in Geneva, the position encompasses institutional-grade manager due diligence across a broad range of hedge fund strategies, advanced portfolio analytics and risk oversight, and the preparation of high-quality client deliverables for sophisticated institutional and ultra-high-net-worth clients. This position offers direct exposure to leading hedge fund managers and complex portfolio mandates and is suited to candidates seeking to operate at the highest standards of institutional investment excellence.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with the portfolio management team to deliver high quality analysis and reporting to clients both existing and prospective
• Responsible for compiling statistical reports on hedge funds and hedge fund portfolios primarily using Excel
• Preparation of presentations, investment proposals and portfolio reviews for prospective and existing clients
• Support in hedge fund portfolio management and trade processing as well as assist in writing commentary for portfolio performance reviews
• Perform ad-hoc operational tasks

Profil / Ihre Qualifikation / Ihre Persönlichkeit:

• Top-tier academic credentials with a university degree in finance or similar banking education, CFA/CAIA are a plus
• First relevant work experience in finance and basic industry knowledge in the area of hedge funds is an advantage
• Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills, knowledge in VBA Macros is an advantage
• Fluency in English
• Ability to weigh problems, set priorities and have a hands- on mentality as well as the ability to work with various stakeholder
• Strong analytical skills as well as excellent communication and presentation skills
