This role is part of our Wealth Management Business, a growing area for the bank. We’re expanding our ability to support clients with investable assets of up to £3 million and help close the Advice Gap in the UK. As part of our broader Affluent segment, this planning-led proposition offers clear and accessible investment options tailored to each client’s needs. In this role, you will build deep, meaningful relationships with clients—listening carefully, understanding what matters most to them, and offering tailored solutions that support their financial and lifestyle goals. Purpose of the role
: To establish and nurture profitable partnerships with both corporate and individual clients. You’ll serve as the bridge between the bank’s offerings and clients’ needs, ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.
Tasks
- Management of client relationships to identify the client’s financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance in order to support the analysis of data obtained from various sources—including the investment portfolio and cash flow—to identify trends, insights, areas for improvement, and additional services to support the client’s needs.
- Research and understanding of the client’s industry trends, regulatory landscape, and competitive environment to inform strategic recommendations.
- Designing customized solutions that address the client’s specific needs and objectives, incorporating a range of products and services from the bank’s portfolio.
- Communicate the value proposition of proposed solutions, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms that are beneficial to both the client and the bank.
- Providing guidance to clients to support their financial decisions, offering expert investment advice, risk management and wealth management strategies, and updates on market trends to ensure a positive and ongoing relationship.
- Assessing financial, legal, and operational risks associated with client relationships and implementing measures to minimize potential losses.
- Documenting all client interactions, transactions, and agreements to ensure transparency and auditability, and effectively communicating findings to support product development, service offerings, and the bank’s overall strategy.
- Monitoring client satisfaction, revenue generated, and other relevant metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of relationship management efforts.
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
To be successful as a Wealth Manager, you should have experience with:
- Maintaining and strengthening relationships with a high-net-worth client base, ensuring clients receive consistent support and exceptional service
- Holding an RDR Level 4 certification, supplemented by a financial planning certification, and demonstrating exceptional relationship management skills; experience working directly with individuals and families to address their multifaceted financial needs is highly advantageous
- Gaining a thorough understanding of clients’ goals, priorities, and circumstances, and providing tailored guidance across a broad range of wealth management solutions

- Experience providing regulated advice to high-net-worth clients in the UK,
- Experience building a client base using internal and external networks,
- The ability to effectively gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ needs and advise on a diverse range of wealth management solutions,
- Knowledge of delivering high-quality, bespoke advice, maximizing value for our clients, and negotiating the best commercial outcome
