Structured Lending Specialist - Structured Lending & Solutions – Global Products & Solutions (GPS) 100% (m|f|x) Zürich

Join Julius Baer's Structured Lending & Solutions team as a structured lending specialist, where you will play a critical role in Julius Baer’s lending offering within the GPS Division.

Tasks

• Act as subject matter expert structuring complex lending transactions collaborating with key stakeholders globally
• Liaise with clients to find suitable solutions for their bespoke lending needs
• Support the broader team in deal specific tasks and various other exercises

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education, preferably in Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or Law
• Experience in collateralized transactions underlying being equities, fixed income, hedge funds, amongst other
• Work on front to back work stream coverage – origination, structuring, approvals (including liaising with control functions) and lifecycle management
• Preference for cross-jurisdictional experience, with understanding of complex cases (insider considerations, etc.)
• Technical background in collateral assessment (excel models, etc.)
• Background in transaction documentation negotiation
• Experience with derivative structures / hedged transactions
• Proficient in MS word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, other languages are a plus
• Diligent, accurate, and reliable personality
• Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Critical and conceptual problem-solver with a growth mindset, with strong attention to detail
• Able to work independently, and take ownership, with a highly motivated and positive attitude
