We’re looking for a future team member to fill the role of Senior Vice President, External Reporting on our Finance team. This position is based in Brussels, Belgium.

Tasks

  • Understanding, oversight of production, and review of regulatory reporting for the Swiss branch of BNY SANV at the individual level. (statistical, liquidity, and capital)
  • Work in a robust operational control environment for data production and reporting; for example, certification, analytical review, and checklists are performed to the required standard. Adherence to regulatory governance policies
  • Collaborate with other functional and business areas—such as Corporate Treasury, Risk and Compliance, Legal, and business line management—in the preparation of regulatory filings.
  • Provide support for projects aimed at helping the business achieve its objectives regarding regulatory reporting and compliance with new regulatory rules, as well as advisory work on business changes and restructurings.
  • Provide support to the manager who assists the business and business partner departments in assessing the impact of new business initiatives and new regulatory rules
  • Other: Stay informed of legislative and regulatory developments and maintain knowledge of external reporting requirements and procedures. Perform other duties as required from time to time.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Accounting (IFRS, Swiss GAAP) and regulatory knowledge (capital, liquidity, statistical reporting).
  • Prior experience working with the Swiss regulator is a plus.
  • Deadline-driven with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze large volumes of financial data, draw conclusions, and communicate them persuasively.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, complex, highly regulated, multinational/cross-functional organization.
  • Analytical with an inquisitive and challenging mindset.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power BI and experience with AI are a plus).
  • Experience with reporting systems and processes.
  • Experience with internal controls.
  • English required, plus one of the national languages of Switzerland.
