As part of HSBC in France, you will help develop and grow our business.
The global HSBC Infrastructure Finance (“HIF”) team, which comprises Infrastructure Finance and Export Finance, provides a full suite of financing solutions to corporations, financial sponsors, financial institutions, and governments across a variety of sectors, including infrastructure, shipping, transportation, logistics, renewables, and power & utilities.
The team serves as a central point of contact for clients to access product-agnostic advice on financing, capital structure, and structured debt capital markets, as well as the origination and execution of infrastructure, project, and export finance lending mandates. HIF plays a critical role in financing the energy transition for our clients, and we have pivoted our business model to increase our provision of financing to key energy transition subsectors, with the aim of monetizing the transition and generating incremental revenue for the bank. HIF consists of over 175 employees located in 14 countries, with key hubs in London, Paris, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New York.
The Export Finance team supports the cross-border trade of capital goods and services by HSBC’s clients through government support programs. These programs are administered by Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) to enhance the credit quality of the financing provided to borrowers. The business is one of the world’s leading arrangers of ECA-supported debt, with a long-established track record.
The Export Finance team works across products, regions, countries, and sectors to arrange medium- and long-term financing for clients in the public and private sectors who are purchasing capital goods and services or investing in a particular region. Export Finance can cover, among other things, infrastructure development, manufacturing equipment, marine assets, aircraft, power generation equipment, real estate, and a wide range of other goods and services.

- In conjunction with local and global coverage teams, maintain and actively engage with key client relationships (borrowers and exporters) from an export finance perspective.
- Maintain and actively engage with ECAs, their international network, and underwriting teams at both the senior and junior levels, specifically with Bpifrance Assurance Export.

- Lead credit assessments for transactions and oversee HSBC’s internal approval processes for export finance transactions, including credit approval processes.
