As a Project Manager in Vendor Oversight (f/m/d), you are responsible for implementing projects and changes related to the Third-Party Risk Management Framework on a global scale.
You are part of the Third-Party Risk Management team, which is responsible for overseeing third-party engagements and ensuring regulatory compliance.
The role consists of approximately 60% CHANGE and 40% RUN tasks, for which you have full responsibility and ownership.
This position will be based in Frankfurt.
Tasks
- Own and manage TPRM projects and ensure a smooth transition to business-as-usual operations
- TPRM projects encompass various types, such as the implementation of the TPRM framework in Asia-Pacific and the U.S.; IT landscape development (e.g., implementation of new workflows and repositories), including service provider selection; continuous workflow optimization; and integration of subject matter experts
- Ensure day-to-day coordination of Third-Party Oversight activities with business owners and second-line functions such as Data Privacy, Risk Management, Legal and Compliance, Information Security, IT Compliance, Business Resilience, and Vendor Management for all third-party engagements
- Conduct Business Owner classification calls (pre-screening calls) and classify cases according to the defined regulatory decision tree
- Ensure compliance with and execution of all TPRM lifecycle steps in accordance with the TPRM policy
- Notify supervisory authorities of new outsourcing arrangements and update ICT services in the ICT register
- Provide reporting to Allianz Group entities as well as senior management
- Escalate non-compliant cases to the relevant stakeholders, including business owners and third parties
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Business Management, or a related field of study is required
- Knowledge of project management and business analysis, along with proven project-related work experience
- A demonstrated change-oriented mindset, including strong stakeholder collaboration skills
- Knowledge of national and international regulatory requirements in the financial services industry; familiarity with KaMaRisk and the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is an advantage
- Experience in project management, vendor management, contract management, outsourcing management, or related roles is considered a plus
- A strong team player mentality
- A minimum of 6 years of professional experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and client-centric approach, combining diplomacy with assertiveness
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; additional languages are highly beneficial, and German is considered a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft CoPilot is a plus
