Job Description

We’re looking for a Senior Liquidity Planning Analyst to join our Group Treasury team. This role will support the development and embedding of a Groupwide Liquidity Planning & Analysis Framework which will help to improve cash visibility, liquidity forecasting, reporting and decision-making across the Group.

You’ll work closely with Divisional colleagues across the Group to standardise approaches, improve data quality, strengthen controls and provide clear insight to support effective liquidity management.

This role would be ideal for someone with previous experience working in liquidity, or a closely related Finance, Risk or Actuarial role who enjoys combining technical analysis with stakeholder engagement and practical process improvement work.

Tasks

  • Supporting with the implementation and operation of the Group Liquidity Planning & Analysis Framework
  • Assisting with embedding consistent approaches to liquidity forecasting, action planning and reporting across the Group
  • Working with Divisions to standardise methodologies, assumptions and processes
  • Producing accurate cash flow forecasts, liquidity dashboards and reporting outputs
  • Improving data quality, transparency and reconciliation across key reporting metrics
  • Preparing clear liquidity analysis and insight for senior stakeholders
  • Challenging divisional submissions, assumptions and outputs in a constructive way
  • Maintaining Treasury processes, controls and documentation

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Experience working in a liquidity or closely related Finance, Risk or Actuarial role would be highly beneficial
  • Strong understanding of reporting dynamics, cash flow forecasting and balance sheet information
  • Experience developing, interpreting and reviewing financial models
  • Good understanding of data flows, data quality issues and dependencies
  • Strong Excel skills, alongside confident use of Word and PowerPoint
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain analysis to different audiences
  • Good stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted working relationships
  • Knowledge of Liquidity risk, Treasury instruments, financial markets and/or Solvency II would be beneficial
