Senior Investment Advisor (m|f|x) Genf

Are you passionate about investments and do you want to deliver the best possible investment experience possible for our clients? Within our Client Advisory unit, we are looking for a professional who will take ownership of the investment advisory in our Geneva branch.

Tasks

• Provide high quality tailor-made investment advice to UHNWI clients and sophisticated wealth management customers across all the asset classes and different markets
• Manage and grow a book of advisory direct clients
• Ongoing monitoring of advisory portfolios (risk budget, performance, asset allocation), providing frequent proactive investment ideas to clients.
• Regular generation and production of investment ideas and solutions for advisory clients within Wealth Management.
• Presentation on market views, investment strategy and investment ideas for relationship managers, clients and prospects (incl. at events)
• Preparation of and participation in client pitches
• Presentation of all the investment products of the Bank, including Discretionary Solutions and Vontobel Select.
• Contribution to the continuous development of the investment offering
• Contribution to strategic projects within the department

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in client-facing advisory, with focus on direct client holistic investment advisory
• Very good knowledge of macroeconomics, and investment strategy. Experience in portfolio management is an asset
• Proven excellent knowledge of all the asset classes.
• In-depth knowledge of structured products, mechanics, pricing drivers, and their practical application within diversified portfolios
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French, German and English.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to talk in front of a broad audience
• Highly motivated team player, with strong organization skills, strategic thinking and willingness to take ownership of several tasks
• Flexible, proactive, open-minded attitude, charismatic person with natural seniority and a strong desire to deliver excellence.
• Strong technical analysis skills and proficiency in executing all types of client orders under pressure
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and finance tools (Bloomberg, Factset is an asset)
