FundPartner Solutions provides a full suite of fund administration and private-label fund services. The global team of industry experts specializes in fund domiciliation, registration, and governance, as well as risk compliance and investment management services.

Corporate Functions encompasses the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units and include the Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Organization & Digital, Risk, and Tax departments.

Tasks

  • Ensure compliance with AML governance requirements (draft the Fund’s AML documents; manage the market entry forms; ensure the accuracy of RBE filings; arrange for the Fund to be registered with the AED, CSSF, or Go AML, as applicable).
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new business relationships (i.e., distributors, investment managers, investors).
  • Monitor, control, and verify compliance with the AML policy on a regular basis.
  • Review escalations submitted by service providers and, where necessary, take the required actions regarding the submission of SARs and STRs.
  • Regularly report to the Fund’s Board of Directors on AML risks and participate in Board of Directors’ meetings to present the results of risk controls.
  • Report internally on the team’s activities and key AML risks identified—regarding the overall framework and specific products—to contribute to the improvement of the internal control system from an AML perspective, and periodically participate in the Company’s Executive Committee to present the results of these controls.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Luxembourg authorities and all of the Funds’ stakeholders regarding AML matters.
  • Assist the Funds’ Board of Directors in responding to any AML questions raised by the Funds’ external auditors.
  • Participate in the Company’s AML Regulatory Watch.
  • Work closely with the various risk and compliance lines of defense (L1, L1 Risk and Compliance, L2 Compliance, and Internal Audit).

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

Required experience:

  • University degree in Economics or Finance
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in the area of compliance (corporate and/or AML), with experience
    in internal and/or external auditing

Technical skills:

  • Proficiency in using computer systems and new technologies, as well as an interest in these areas.
  • Good knowledge of European and Luxembourg legislation (required).
  • Knowledge of the full scope of compliance responsibilities, including a comprehensive understanding of the various roles in the investment fund industry—and more specifically, the operational mechanisms of a management company, as well as those of a custodian bank, transfer agent, and fund administration firm—and the related regulatory framework will be considered an asset.
