Clients include financial institutions, public and private pensions, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and foundations, and high net worth investors.

We are seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to join SRE’s Business Development team.

The individual will be responsible for supporting the firm’s real estate business development efforts across primaries, co-investments and secondaries. Responsibilities will include supporting fundraising processes, content creation, and periodic interactions with existing and prospective clients.

Tasks

  • Develop content for marketing and due diligence materials including presentations, fact cards, private placement memorandums, due diligence questionnaires etc.
  • Prepare responses to requests for information and proposals, track record analyses, third-party databases, competitor benchmarking and investor requests
  • Manage investor pipelines via Salesforce, tracking progression and preparing reports for senior stakeholders
  • Support the preparation and execution of investor meetings and roadshows including materials and tracking follow up
  • Collaborate across departments including research, asset and portfolio management, RFP, legal and compliance, tax, and portfolio reporting and analytics
  • Contribute to other business development initiatives as they arise

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-6 years of relevant work experience from financial services firms (e.g., private equity, capital advisory/placement agents, investment banks)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word); proficiency with AI tools such as Claude and Copilot
  • Experience with Salesforce or Intralinks desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent the firm in a professional manner with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter with the ability to set priorities, manage deadlines, and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with private markets performance metrics to accurately maintain track record materials, support fund benchmarking, and respond to investor requests
