To strengthen our presence in French-speaking Switzerland (Romandie) and further expand our position as an independent investment partner for institutional and wholesale clients, we are looking - together with our Sales team in Zurich - for an entrepreneurial sales professional with a strong network across the region, a genuine hunter mentality, and a proven ability to acquire new clients while building long-term relationships.
Tasks
- Business Development: Proactivelyacquirenew clients while expanding existing relationships with institutional investors (pension funds, foundations, insurance companies), external asset managers, banks, and family offices
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary relationship manager for institutional andwealthclients in French-speaking Switzerland
- Market Development: Build on and continuously strengthen Flossbach von Storch's market presence across Romandie
- Marketing & Events: Independently plan, organize, and execute marketing and sales activities, including client events, conferences, roadshows, and investment presentations
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Investment, Marketing, and Client Service teams to ensurean outstanding client experience
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Qualifications: Completed banking apprenticeship and/or university degree; alternatively, a professional qualification such as CFA, CEFA/CIIA, or an equivalent certification
- Experience: Several years of successful sales experience within the institutional and/or wealth business in Switzerland, supported by a well-established network among institutional investors, asset managers, or other professional market participants-ideally in French-speaking Switzerland
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of capital markets and in-depth knowledge of active investment strategies; experience in fixed income is an advantage.
- Personal Attributes: Entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication and presentation skills, a high degree of initiative, strong business development and relationship management capabilities, proven closing ability, a professional presence, and willingness to travel throughout French-speaking Switzerland
- Languages: Fluent French and English, both written and spoken. German language skills are a plus
