Tasks
- You analyze market risks in the banking book—in particular, interest rate risk (IRRBB) and credit spread risk (CSRBB)—and contribute your insights to the bank’s overall risk management.
- You will support the modeling process for customer behavior in interest rate risk and liquidity management
- You analyze liquidity risk and are specifically responsible for liquidity stress tests as well as the LCR and NSFR metrics.
- You will prepare ad hoc analyses of the portfolio based on the data warehouse and present the results as a sound basis for decision-making
- You set limits for treasury activities and monitor compliance with them.
- You will prepare risk reports and coordinate the preparation of the bank-wide risk report.
- You will continuously improve data quality and further develop the data delivery process to the RBI.
- You enjoy using programming and AI to automate processes and make them more efficient.
- You participate in cross-functional risk projects and actively contribute to the further development of methods, processes, and systems
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, economics, business informatics, mathematics, physics, or a related field
- Initial or several years of professional experience in market and liquidity management or general risk management, consulting, banking supervision, or a related field is a plus
- Expertise in the areas of market risk and liquidity risk, knowledge of the regulatory framework, or experience in accounting is a plus
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Python, and banking-specific software (e.g., Bloomberg, etc.) is a plus
- You are interested in artificial intelligence, the development of AI agents, and other AI-based solutions for risk management
- Self-motivation and a precise, structured approach to work
- Strong aptitude for working with numbers
- Excellent German and English skills
