The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm that provides a wide range of financial services to a substantial and diversified client base that includes corporations, financial institutions, governments, and individuals. Founded in 1869, the firm is headquartered in New York and maintains offices in all major financial centers around the world. We commit people, capital, and ideas to help our clients, shareholders, and the communities we serve grow. Our people are our greatest asset—we say it often, and with good reason. It is only through the determination and dedication of our people that we can serve our clients, generate long-term value for our shareholders, and contribute to the broader public. We take pride in supporting each colleague both professionally and personally. From collaborative workspaces and ergonomic services to wellness and resilience programs, we offer our people the flexibility and support they need to achieve their goals both in and outside the office.

You will become a risk expert with in-depth knowledge across many industries. Your daily decisions will ensure that the firm’s risk appetite statement and risk-taking philosophy are consistently implemented. You safeguard the firm’s capital through economic cycles.
Credit Risk (CR) is a central component of Goldman Sachs’ risk management framework, with primary responsibility for assessing, monitoring, and managing credit risk across the firm. CR has a global presence with offices in New York, London, Salt Lake City, Warsaw, Bengaluru, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
Understanding the credit quality of corporations, financial institutions, and governments worldwide is essential to the firm’s ability to serve as an effective financial intermediary. CR professionals with expertise in financial, credit, and risk analysis work closely with many areas of the firm as well as with clients, offering a unique opportunity to gain a broad perspective on the firm’s activities.
CR partners with other divisions within the firm and externally with clients to support the firm’s wide range of banking and trading businesses.
