The RM Inbound manages a portfolio of Commercial Banking ISB (International Subsidiary Banking) and Global Banking Multinationals (MNC) clients across Europe, ensuring service delivery, risk management, and operational excellence.

Working closely with Global Relationship Managers and Bankers, the role involves addressing a wide range of client needs across Credit & Lending, Cash Management, and Global Trade and Receivables Finance.

Tasks

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of client relationships, manage customers, and develop strategies for superior customer service.
  • Collaborate with the clients’ Global Relationship Managers to ensure seamless service delivery in Europe.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable HSBC operational risk standards and policies, reporting any violations in accordance with local procedures.

Customers / Stakeholders

  • Maintain customer engagement and deliver fair outcomes for the customer.
  • Deliver high-quality service and ensure the early identification and resolution of problems.
  • Maintain active client outreach and regular contact with stakeholders, including creating and submitting call reports and documenting interactions using the Client Management Experience (CME) tool.
  • Build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Refer client inquiries related to the sale of new products or complex service requests to dedicated specialist support teams across the region.
  • Prioritize the customer, delivering an excellent experience for clients and for GRMs/GRBs.

Risk Management

  • Monitor credit risk, including watch lists and credit control reports, and analyze management information.
  • Confidently manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle by identifying, assessing, accepting, monitoring, escalating, and mitigating risk with the support of Team Leads, GRMs, GRBs, and ISB/MNC Market Heads.
  • Deepen understanding of the client through proactive credit risk assessments and customer due diligence reviews.
  • Be responsible for the accurate completion of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) profile, including the Financial Crime Risk Review (FCRR) and Know Your Customer (KYC), before submitting the case for review and approval.
  • Compile and approve the CDD Risk Support Statement and appropriately escalate any concerns or red flags.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Experience: At least 1–2 years in a similar position, with experience in a client-focused environment.
  • Acumen: Strong business acumen with an understanding of economic, cultural, and regulatory factors.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills; experience in credit assessment is a plus.
  • Language Skills: English (required).
