Tasks

Assist the FO team at Banco Santander International S.A. with day-to-day operations. You will provide support for service tasks in a well-organized and timely manner, while learning about the needs of the bankers and clients. You will perform the following tasks:

  • Customer service, including:
  • Providing administrative support in establishing banking relationships, including handling legal and compliance matters
  • Monitoring the progress of tasks and ensuring proper follow-up
  • Checking account balances, loans, transfers, etc.
  • Processing requests for payment instructions
  • Processing applications and inquiries related to credit and debit cards
  • Operations and Back Office, providing support in:
  • Ensuring close collaboration with various departments, including Onboarding, Legal & Compliance, Credit, Payments, and Back Office.
  • Monitoring and verifying that all requested transactions have been completed or processed by the operations department.
  • Management of foreign exchange transactions and wire transfers
  • New accounts and updates
  • Preparing documentation and providing assistance to bankers and other members of the front office team.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Formal Academic Education: i.e., bachelor’s degree
  • 1–4 years of relevant experience in the financial and banking industry in the following areas: customer service, operations, compliance, back office, interacting with internal and external clients, preparing reports, and conducting client visits.
  • Strong technical knowledge in banking, business administration, and finance
  • Software: Proficiency with Office tools.
  • Good planning and organizational skills and a problem-solving approach.
  • Dynamic, proactive, and capable of completing tasks independently.
  • Adaptable, personable team player with a “can-do” attitude and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Focused on teamwork and team spirit.
  • Eager to learn.
  • Languages: Fluent in Polish and English (written and spoken).
  • Knowledge of French and Spanish is highly valued.
  • Eligible to work in Switzerland.
