The Portfolio Management team is responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management of Partners Group’s $52 billion of evergreen solutions, as well as strategic platform-wide initiatives and new product launches. Building on a 20+ year track record of managing evergreens, Portfolio Management ensures the delivery of best-in-class private markets investments to solutions that scalable, efficient, and diversified through disciplined liquidity management, portfolio construction, and relative value.
Tasks
We are now looking to add a Portfolio Manager to our growing practice, based in Zug, Switzerland or London, United Kingdom. You will be part of the Market-leading Evergreen team within Portfolio Management and have the following responsibilities:
- Portfolio implementation of private markets evergreen funds
- Reporting and explaining evergreen fund analysis to internal and external stakeholders
- Support in creating bespoke portfolio proposals for existing and new funds, focusing on strategic asset allocation, investment returns / risk and cash flow modelling
- Modelling and analysis of private markets data incorporating internal and external datapoints
- Operation and enhancement of proprietary private markets systems and models
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- University degree, with emphasis in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar technical field
- 7-10 years' work experience predominantly in private markets or private equity investments, and/or portfolio construction experience linked to private markets in a multi-asset context
- Professional qualification (e.g. CFA, CAIA) desirable but not a requirement
- Advanced excel skills, with evidence of liaising directly with clients preferred
- Passion for private markets, portfolio optimization, quantitative analysis
- Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
- Attention to detail and ability to work error-free
- Effective and reliable team player
