Nomura is a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning approximately 30 countries and regions. By connecting markets in the East and West, Nomura serves the needs of individuals, institutions, corporations, and governments through its three business divisions: Wealth Management, Investment Management, and Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking). Founded in 1925, the firm is built on a tradition of disciplined entrepreneurship, serving clients with creative solutions and thoughtful leadership.
Nomura’s Finance department manages the company’s financial operations and provides financial guidance to support business decision-making. The team collaborates with senior leadership, business units, and stakeholders to develop effective financial strategies, providing guidance on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to align financial operations with business objectives. Nomura’s Finance team specializes in financial reporting, accounting, tax, treasury, and capital management, and is known for providing exceptional service to clients. With a strong track record, a commitment to innovation, and a global reach, Nomura’s Finance department is well-positioned to continue driving growth and success in the financial industry.
As part of Nomura’s European expansion, you’ll experience the best of both worlds: the operational discipline and long-term perspective of a Japanese financial institution combined with the dynamism and entrepreneurial spirit of European markets. This unique cultural blend creates an environment where thoughtful resource management coexists with innovative problem-solving.
Join a high-caliber team of experienced Treasury professionals with backgrounds at leading global banks. The Continental Europe Liquidity Management Team works in close partnership with our London EMEA Treasury hub, fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and professional development are prioritized.
Join Nomura Financial Products Europe (NFPE) as Vice President – Liquidity Manager, a pivotal role managing liquidity, funding, and regulatory compliance across our €20 billion European balance sheet. Based in Frankfurt, you will serve as a senior member of the Continental Europe Liquidity Management Team, reporting directly to the Head of Liquidity Management and working in close partnership with our London EMEA Treasury hub and Nomura Group Treasury.

You will have direct submission authority for regulatory liquidity reporting to the Bundesbank, positioning you as the primary regulatory liaison for NFPE liquidity matters.
This is an exceptional opportunity to work at the intersection of Japanese, European, and global regulatory frameworks, gaining exposure to cross-border liquidity management challenges unique to internationally active banking groups. You will shape liquidity frameworks for Nomura’s growing EU operations with direct visibility to C-suite executives, regulatory authorities, and regional leadership.
