Tasks

• As Head of Asset Management and Investment Solutions, you will assume technical and strategic responsibility for our investment business. You will actively shape our product portfolio and investment strategy and serve as the central point of contact between product management, sales, and regulatory affairs.
• Strategic development of our product portfolio and investment strategy in the areas of securities and asset management
• Analysis of market, product, and revenue trends, as well as the development and implementation of sales and revenue-generating measures
• Responsibility for product governance and compliance with regulatory and legal requirements, particularly MiFID II and IDD
• Providing technical support and services to the sales team, as well as overseeing technical training and professional development
• Establishing and maintaining strategic relationships with product partners and conducting negotiations
• Further development of processes, guidelines, advisory and sales materials, and IT support
• Management, development, and organization of the Investment Department
• Representing VKB both internally and externally, as well as participating in relevant decision-making and expert committees

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• Several years of relevant experience in the investment and securities industry
• In-depth knowledge of product management as well as the legal and regulatory framework of the financial sector
• Several years of demonstrable leadership experience, preferably in a comparable position in the banking sector
• Degree in economics or comparable qualification; industry-specific certifications are a plus
• Strategic and analytical thinking, as well as strong execution skills
• Strong negotiation skills, decisiveness, and a confident demeanor
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
