The Bank für Kirche und Diakonie eG – KD-Bank is the oldest Protestant church bank in Germany. For over 100 years, we have been active as a specialized bank within the Cooperative Financial Group, with approximately 280 employees serving the church, social welfare organizations, and the social economy. In everything we do, we uphold our ethical, sustainable, and Christian mission.
Here, you’ll find a friendly and open work environment. Flat hierarchies and short decision-making paths make it rewarding to contribute ideas and work collaboratively. As a remote bank, we’re particularly effective in serving our clients from the church, social welfare, and the social economy, operating nationwide from our headquarters in Dortmund.
Tasks
As a Junior Account Manager (m|f|x) for Institutional Clients in the Diakonie and Social Economy sectors, you will advise our clients on all areas of banking, with a focus on financing advice. You will systematically and actively use our client advisory tool—the “KD-Bank-Dialog”—with personal contact, phone calls, and video consultations serving as the primary channels.
- You excel at relationship management and are able to connect with clients at various levels of interaction.
- Sustained sales success is very important to you, and you view it as a natural outcome of your consistent and professional client advisory work.
- You support our clients’ financing projects and serve as the point of contact throughout the entire loan process—from initial business development through loan processing to disbursement.
- Capital markets are your passion! You provide comprehensive support to our clients with their investments. In addition to deposit accounts, you are well-versed in securities, asset management, and fund solutions.
- In addition to phone and video consultations, you’ll attend internal and external client meetings.
- As a proponent of our sustainable advisory approach, you value the fact that you and your colleagues on the team provide our clients with comprehensive, trustworthy support in the spirit of long-term collaboration.
- You’re well-organized, work independently, and take the initiative to implement sales strategies.
- The topic of sustainability is an integral part of your advisory approach.

- You are very familiar with the range of products in a bank’s lending, deposit, and service operations.
