Within the GTB framework, the GTB Junior Sales contributes to the achievement of the global financial trajectory by:

i) supporting senior sales (either GTB or specialist) in commercial activities

ii) serving as the day-to-day GTB client point of contact for all commercial matters

iii) having direct client commercial objectives

The GTB Junior Sales has a good knowledge of one or more GTB products for corporate clients (PCM, TRA, SGF), has the ability to understand clients’ needs and the related commercial and operational implications, and addresses specific or more complex requests (commercial and non-commercial) to colleagues in other desks.

The Junior Sales reports to the Head of the GTPS Desk (with the exception of reporting to the Head of Sales when the position is confirmed in the country).

Tasks

Commercial:

  • Supports Senior Sales in developing commercial activities: pitch preparation, client meetings, credit file preparation, local RFP analysis and response, business feasibility analysis, follow-up actions
  • Identifies sales potential based on interactions with the client and directly manages simple client business growth requests
  • Ensures data quality for commercial activities (IC report, pipeline valuation, client structure, GAP, etc.)
  • Prepares, in collaboration with the Sales team and Client Service, local portfolio reviews (including client commercial action plans) / annual GTPS relationship reviews / business collaboration preparation / annual price reviews
  • Be proactive in the local deployment of specific commercial campaigns and BL initiatives
  • Conducts specific commercial analyses (client profitability, client product mix, etc.)—in collaboration with other desk members (e.g., Client Service Unit review)
  • Ensures and oversees timely responses to client inquiries
  • For some – directly manages his/her portfolio of clients (small MNCs / small low-touch clients – IG with no credit delegation), builds and delivers the GTB commercial plan for his/her portfolio of clients

Operational:

  • Serves as the day-to-day GTB client entry point for front-end matters (commercial, credit, or equipment) and forwards client requests to the Client Service Unit (CSU) for non-commercial issues that clients may raise with sales
  • Handles credit documentation and keeps related systems up-to-date or asks support teams (MO/EMO) to do so (BANCS, LIQ, CashFit)
  • Follows up on contract negotiations
  • In coordination with the Client Service Unit:

    • Coordinates the onboarding and management of the most complex and strategic GTB clients (excluding incident management)

    • Supports local booking operations
  • Ensures compliance with the risk appetite framework within his/her scope, including the desk’s contribution to adherence to the GTPS risk appetite statement, particularly country limits and sectoral limits

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

Education & experience:

  • Expertise in one or more GTB products for corporate clients: PCM, TRA, SGF

Language skills:

  • English: C1
  • German: C1
  • Other languages are a plus

Technical, operational, and soft skills:

  • Good knowledge of GTB bank processes and product implications
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to understand client needs and identify business opportunities
