To this end, we are seeking a qualified Junior Portfolio Manager for our Portfolio Management division at our Frankfurt location to start as soon as possible.

Tasks

  • Assistance with portfolio management: both "traditional" products such as equity, bond, or money market funds, as well as the implementation and monitoring of strategic asset allocation,
  • Intensive communication with clients within the scope of existing mandates; after successful onboarding, taking on your first independent mandates,
  • Assistance with investment decisions, e.g., individual security selection, allocation, rebalancing,
  • Assisting with the presentation of portfolio results to investors (service meetings, investment committee meetings),
  • Preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders,
  • Collaborating with portfolio management, risk management, sales, and other departments,
  • Further development of quantitative analyses and tools (e.g., in GenAI, Python, or SQL) to support the investment process.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • A successfully completed degree in economics or a quantitative field (e.g., finance, economics, mathematics) or a comparable qualification,
  • Initial practical experience in portfolio management and asset management,
  • Strong expertise in capital and financial markets across a wide range of asset classes,
  • Initial experience dealing with institutional clients or in the asset management environment is a plus,
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as a structured approach to work,
  • Ideally, knowledge of programming (e.g., GenAI, Python, SQL) or data analysis,
  • Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of other tools (e.g., Bloomberg) is a plus,
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English.
