Tasks
- Conduct independent thematic research on sectors and specific companies
- Support the sourcing and origination of new investment opportunities
- Support the execution of investments by taking responsibility for individual due diligence workstreams
- Conduct extensive financial modeling and develop company valuations
- Take responsibility for preparing investment memoranda and participate in investment committee discussions
- Support the management and monitoring of portfolio companies
- Contribute to value creation initiatives, supporting management teams and boards of directors
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Strong academic background from a top-tier university or business school
- 1.5–2.5 years of full-time experience in investment banking (M&A, sector team, financing role), private equity, or strategy consulting
- Keen interest in infrastructure private equity and growth investments
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills and understanding of corporate finance concepts
- Strong commercial and critical thinking skills
- Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn about new sectors and concepts
- Strong motivation and interpersonal skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to quickly grasp complex topics with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; Spanish, Italian, or another European language is a plus
