As a Junior Credit Analyst / Fixed Income Portfolio Manager at Bank J. You contribute to the team across research, portfolio management, sales & marketing, and tool development, supported by your collaborative mindset, existing skills, and passion for learning.

Tasks

  • Perform single-name credit analysis, sector, and country coverage in the CEEMEA region
  • Identify investment opportunities, review portfolio holdings, monitor news flow and geopolitical developments
  • Provide support across the team in all areas of daily portfolio management as well as in marketing and sales initiatives such as reporting, RFPs, marketing documents, etc.
  • Support the creation and enhancement of technical and AI tools used by the fixed income team

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Higher education (university or university of applied sciences) in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of practical experience in the field of fixed-income portfolio management or credit analysis
  • Good understanding of fixed-income securities with a passion for learning and professional growth
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • IT knowledge and affinity is an advantage (such as VBA, Python coding)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an entrepreneurial and collaborative mindset
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to work with various stakeholders
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and a high level of accountability
  • Willingness and ability to take responsibility and grow in the role
