You’ll be working as a part of a large-scale global asset manager offering investment capabilities and styles across all major traditional and alternative asset classes, from active to passive and including a comprehensive sustainable investing offering.
You’ll be part of the Investor Relations Real Assets team within UBS Asset Management’s Unified Global Alternatives (UGA) unit. With more than USD 300 billion under management (across Real Estate, Infrastructure, Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Private Credit), UGA is a leading global alternatives investor, channeling UBS Wealth and Institutional capital into both UBS and third-party best-in-class alternative investment vehicles. The Investor Relations Real Assets team is a dynamic, committed, and ambitious team that focuses on Infrastructure and Real Estate. We are the key partner to the Investment Specialists in securing commitments from new investors and managing relationships with existing investors. We strive to be a trusted partner for our investors, client advisors, distribution colleagues, investment teams, and the entire value chain of Unified Global Alternatives.
You'll play a key role in bridging product structuring and investment content between Japan teams and relevant global teams, ensuring alignment with local market standards and sensitivities.

Tasks
- provide specialist knowledge of UGA's Real Assets products to clients worldwide and Japanese investors in particular
- provide high-quality investment solutions to institutional and private investors globally, and particularly provide guidance across all UGA investment verticals when it comes to the Japanese market
- contribute to fundraising efforts by completing RFPs and creating compelling marketing materials, including pitch decks and due diligence questionnaires (DDQs)
- work closely with the Investment teams to conduct research and analysis on market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor activity to enhance investor communication and position the firm as a market leader
- work closely with the Asset Management Client Coverage teams as well as Global Wealth Management client advisors to support sales and client services efforts
- ensure the delivery of exceptional client service that maintains the current quality standard of SMA and facilitates potential top-up opportunities
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- significant experience (12-15 years) in an institutional investment, private markets specialist, product specialist or alternative sales role
- deep understanding of the Japanese investor landscape and regulatory environment, with the ability to serve as a Japanese SMAs’ gatekeeper role by delivering regular reporting and performance updates with precision and consistency.
- experience with the investor landscape in Japan, the Japanese alternatives market, and providing services to Japanese clients
- understands the unique expectations and requirements of Japanese institutional investors, and can effectively interpret and communicate these needs to global teams.
- advanced technical, product and market knowledge in real estate and infrastructure investments as well as multi-alternative products
