You will join the UBS Private Funds Group (PFG) within Global Banking, with a primary focus on primary fundraising advisory. PFG provides global advisory and distribution services to private fund sponsors across private equity, private debt, infrastructure and real assets, combining primary fundraising capabilities with secondary and liquidity solutions.

In this role, you will support the origination and execution of fundraising mandates, working closely with senior PFG bankers, global distribution colleagues and clients. You will play a key role in evaluating opportunities, preparing marketing materials, coordinating investor outreach and supporting successful capital raises. The role also offers exposure to GP‑led and LP‑led secondary transactions.

You'll be working in the Global Banking Private Funds Group in London. PFG is one of the largest and most established global private placement and secondary advisory platforms, founded in 1998. The team operates as an integrated global franchise across New York, London, Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Singapore, raising capital from institutional investors worldwide for a broad international client base.

You will work as part of a collaborative, high‑performing team within Global Banking, interacting regularly with senior colleagues across regions and with executives at leading private fund managers.

UBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland. We also provide diversified asset management solutions and focused investment banking capabilities. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, UBS is present in more than 50 markets around the globe.

We know that great work is never done alone. That’s why we place collaboration at the heart of everything we do. Because together, we’re more than ourselves.

Tasks

  • working with senior PFG team members to evaluate prospective fundraising opportunities, including detailed analysis of client portfolios, track records, teams, strategies and market opportunities
  • advising clients on fundraising strategy, including fund structuring, timing, investor targeting and legal and commercial terms
  • articulating complex investment and marketing messages clearly and effectively to institutional investors
  • leading the preparation of key fundraising materials, including private placement memoranda, investor presentations, due diligence questionnaires and financial models
  • planning, building and managing virtual data rooms to support investor due diligence
  • maintaining comprehensive fundraising trackers, coordinating investor outreach, managing feedback and producing regular internal and external reports
  • supporting the organisation and execution of investor roadshows, liaising with global distribution colleagues and roadshow coordinators
