As a Private Banker at J.P. Morgan based in Luxembourg, you will lead new client acquisition and retention through your broad knowledge of investments, banking, trust services, and financial planning. You will also be responsible for the client experience and for leveraging our resources to deliver a comprehensive wealth management solution.

You would manage and maintain relationships with clients by earning their trust, thoroughly understanding their needs, providing tailored advice, developing thoughtful solutions, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Tasks

• To generate business results and acquire new assets
• Advise clients on their overall balance sheet, including asset allocation, investment management, wealth planning, and credit and banking needs
• Travel as needed to facilitate business development and client engagement
• Partner with internal specialists to provide interdisciplinary expertise to clients as needed
• Understand clients’ goals and objectives to develop and implement an investment plan for their overall balance sheet, including holistic asset allocation, investment management, portfolio construction, and tactical asset allocation shifts, as well as wealth planning, credit, and banking needs
• Ensure that proposed solutions meet clients’ needs and objectives in the short, medium, and long term through a holistic, goals-based planning approach
• Strictly adhere to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures
• Collaborate with other Client Advisors on the team to maximize the team’s strengths and achieve team goals

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, whether they are individuals with family-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, corporate executives, single-family offices, or endowments, foundations, or charities
• Previous business development experience with expertise in client profiling, negotiation, and proactive referral generation
• A dynamic and credible professional who communicates clearly and possesses exceptional presentation skills
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and applies a disciplined and organized approach throughout their work
• Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, banking, and trust concepts, including, but not limited to: asset allocation for structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit and loan solutions, basic trust and estate products, and the identification of wealth planning opportunities
• Strong reputation with an established network
  

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• A network and track record of performance
• Prior experience with UK clients would be advantageous
• Asset allocation / multi-asset-class portfolio exposure
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is a plus
