Internal Auditor (m|f|x) Frankfurt am Main

Following the successful relocation of its European headquarters to Frankfurt am Main, Bank Pictet & Cie (Europe) AG is seeking an Internal Auditor (m/f/d) in Frankfurt am Main to strengthen its European internal audit team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a renowned company at an exciting time and contribute to the expansion of the European Internal Audit function. You will support the existing Internal Audit team in Frankfurt am Main and conduct joint audits with the team or with colleagues from Luxembourg or Group Internal Audit in Geneva. You will contribute to achieving the objectives of the Internal Audit function, as defined in the annual plan.

Tasks

• Independently conducting risk-based audits in all areas of the bank and its subsidiaries, including private client wealth management, institutional asset management, fund administration, custodial services, and corporate functions
• Preparing audit reports and proposing improvements regarding controls and efficiency from the perspective of a change agent
• Tracking audit recommendations and actions to be implemented
• Conducting regular meetings with stakeholders and the management of the business units
• Supporting Internal Audit Management in planning, delivering presentations, and reporting
• Conducting special audits and ad hoc audits
• Conducting consulting engagements within the business units to support their development
• Collaborating with a team of IT/Data Internal Auditors to leverage new technologies and data analytics in conducting audits

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics or finance
• Certification as a Company Internal Auditor and/or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Experience in the application and interpretation of European banking law and regulations, particularly those of BaFin and CSSF. Experience with other European regulations is a plus
• Very good knowledge of IT systems and/or data analysis tools, experience working with DORA
• At least four to seven years of experience as an internal or external auditor in the banking or financial sector
• Knowledge of risk management, ICAAP, ILAAP, AML, and compliance is a plus
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
