IBCM Switzerland Coverage VP (m|f|x) Zurich

As an Investment Banking Vice President in our Zurich office, you will contribute to the bank’s M&A execution and capital-raising capabilities while building our reputation in the Swiss market through the seamless execution of corporate finance transactions. As part of this role, you will work with product and sector experts based around the globe, thereby gaining experience across a wide range of industries and products.

Tasks

• Developing an understanding of our clients’ businesses to tailor solutions to their needs
• Building relationships with clients by leveraging and providing them with our full suite of products
• Preparing presentations and being able to deliver them to clients
• Taking responsibility for complex financial and valuation analyses and providing guidance to junior bankers in preparing such analyses
• Collaborating with senior bankers to originate, structure, and execute transactions
• Taking a leadership role in the origination and execution of projects and live transactions
• Developing, training, and mentoring junior bankers

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• University degree (BSc or MSc) in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or Economics
• At least 6 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A, preferably at a leading investment bank or boutique firm
• Strong numerical, analytical, and financial modeling skills
• Well-versed in M&A and a strong track record of successfully executing transactions
• Excellent communication skills and a high level of self-motivation
• Strong ability to build client relationships and lead complex projects
• High level of maturity and a strong commitment to integrity and teamwork
• Self-directed, able to work independently and under pressure
• Creative problem-solving skills
• A self-starter who will take ownership of client relationships and projects, with proven execution skills and a track record of coordinating diverse teams
• Excellent oral and written command of English and German
