Tasks

• Establish and oversee safeguarding frameworks for client fiat and virtual assets under MiCA requirements.
• Ensure segregation between company assets and client assets across all wallets and bank accounts.
• Work with Technology, Product, and Compliance teams to monitor wallet structures, access control, key management, and operational risk controls.
• Oversee reconciliation processes, safeguarding accounts, asset protection measures, and internal custody procedures.
• Lead the preparation of safeguarding reports for regulators and auditors.
• Maintain incident management and escalation procedures for safeguarding breaches.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• University degree in Law, Finance, Risk, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in crypto custody, risk management, cybersecurity, or financial safeguarding roles.
• Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure, wallet technology, and asset segregation principles.
• Familiarity with MiCA requirements for safeguarding and asset protection.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.
