The Finance team keeps Revolut moving forward with clarity and confidence. From accounting to strategic support, they work across the business to assess risk, guide decisions, and drive growth. Their insights shape everything from daily operations to long-term plans and play a key role in how we scale.

We’re looking for a tech-savvy, results-oriented Head of Finance to provide merchant acquiring support and financial oversight for crypto-related features in Luxembourg.

Your responsibilities will range from managing financial control and trading to overseeing accounting, tax, and treasury activities.

Tasks

• Building a clean, scalable finance operating model from day one (processes, controls, reconciliations)
• Setting up and managing treasury, liquidity, and safeguarding frameworks
• Leading local accounting, financial reporting, and EMI regulatory reporting
• Managing day-to-day finance operations
• Serving as the point of contact for CSSF finance and prudential matters, including local tax and regulatory finance obligations in coordination with the global Tax team and external advisors
• Delivering precise financial and operational reporting to support the scaling of acquiring and crypto products
• Understanding and clearly communicating financial performance, risks, and key metrics to leadership and the advisory board
• Driving improvements in financial performance through enhanced visibility, controls, and decision support
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation across reporting and financial controls

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of experience in financial services, including EMI, PI, payments, banking, or acquiring
• Experience establishing a regulated entity and applying for licenses, with knowledge of regulatory capital and financial projections for business plans
• Expertise in prudential and regulatory reporting, as well as managing intragroup charging and transfer pricing structures
• Experience with payments or acquiring finance models (settlement flows, safeguarding/funds segregation, merchant payment economics)
• An execution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and at a fast pace
• Structured, detail-oriented, regulator-grade documentation skills
  

Nice to have

• Regulatory experience in Luxembourg (CSSF engagement)
• Familiarity with EMT, stablecoins, and crypto prudential models
• Startup experience, or the agility to adapt to a rapidly growing environment
