Tasks

• Strategic sparring partner to the Head of Asset Management
• Responsibility for business development, including leading a small team
• Management of strategy and goal-setting processes, including KPIs, budget planning, and close collaboration with financial controlling
• Leading key strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects (e.g., growth, efficiency, new business models, impact of AI)
• Design and quality assurance of management and committee documents as well as presentations at the Executive Board and Bank Council levels
• Preparation of market, competitive, and profitability analyses, as well as business cases for new initiatives
• Chief of Staff role: Prioritization, agenda setting, and ensuring efficient decision-making processes within the management team, as well as business risk management issues

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• University degree (business administration, economics, finance, or similar)
• Several years of experience in asset management, strategy consulting, or a comparable role in the financial sector
• Very good understanding of the asset management value chain and regulatory framework
• Experience managing complex projects/programs
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, a strong aptitude for numbers, and experience with documents suitable for the Executive Board and Board of Directors
• High degree of initiative, along with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Strong interpersonal skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with senior stakeholders
