Tasks

• You will lead our local accounting team of twelve employees and continuously develop it using your expertise
• You are responsible for the annual financial statements of all Austrian companies in accordance with the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) and the consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• You ensure tax compliance for all Austrian subsidiaries
• You will successfully manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting, as well as payment transactions
• You will serve as the point of contact for external auditors, banks, and government agencies
• You will actively drive the optimization and automation of accounting processes and participate in digitalization initiatives

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• You have a degree in economics with a focus on finance, accounting, or controlling, or have completed a commercial apprenticeship including the certified bookkeeper exam
• You have several years of relevant experience in (corporate) accounting or tax consulting/auditing, as well as expertise in workflows and processes
• You have extensive leadership experience and skills, enjoy working collaboratively, apply your professional expertise, and take the initiative on key topics
• You are open to variety—whether in projects, team development, or specialized subject areas—and enjoy engaging with technological developments in accounting
• You possess strong interpersonal skills, work with a sense of responsibility and a commitment to quality, and have excellent communication skills in German and English

That awaits you

Annual gross salary starting at €70,000 (not all-inclusive, full-time basis). Your compensation will, of course, be based on your individual qualifications and position-relevant professional experience. In addition, you can expect attractive additional benefits and perks.
