Working alongside our Insurance Asset Management coverage team for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH region), this individual will partner with our dedicated investment and strategy teams across both private and public markets to manage, enhance, and develop client relationships.

The Insurance Asset Management team provides innovative solutions for life, health, property and casualty, and reinsurance companies. The Insurance Asset Management team is responsible for offering a broad range of products across all asset classes, including private debt, private equity, infrastructure, real estate, fixed income, and equities. In addition, the Insurance Asset Management team collaborates with clients on topics such as asset allocation, risk budgeting, and asset/liability management. With a global focus, our Insurance Asset Management team manages general account insurance assets for clients across Europe, North America, Bermuda, Asia, and the Middle East.

Tasks

Associates are dedicated to supporting the relationship management team’s efforts to establish new client relationships and expand existing ones:

• Assist in developing strategic plans for individual clients, outlining a service plan and cross-selling opportunities, and identifying prospects
• Partner with team members to coordinate pitches to prospects, product presentations, and requests for proposals
• Identify and escalate any sensitive client issues to senior team members; coordinate a timely response to the client
• Coordinate with key stakeholders across the Division—including Portfolio Managers, Product Managers, Legal, Technology, Operations, and Compliance—with the shared goal of meeting clients’ needs

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• Bachelor’s degree and strong academic background required
• 3+ years of work experience in asset management or a related field is a plus
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through
• Native German language skills are important
• Ability to understand problems described by clients, articulate the problems clearly to analyze them, and communicate the resulting analysis to clients
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence with colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate effectively with others
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Investment Management Certificate required, or to be obtained within 3 months of joining
