Are you a strong analytical and creative thinker? Do you enjoy developing pitch ideas for stakeholders, clients, and investors?
You’ll be working on the Global Banking business’s Korea country coverage team in Seoul. We work on a wide range of public and private transactions. You’ll play an important role in advising clients on a range of market and strategic matters, including understanding their obligations as a publicly listed company, enhancing value for and growing the shareholder base, and raising capital, among other things.

Tasks

We’re looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to:

• develop pitch book presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals
• generate new ideas and creative approaches that drive the business forward
• identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside colleagues and investors
• create and analyze financial models for potential transactions and client pitches
• identify problems, generate options, and recommend solutions (you’re a natural contingency planner)
• Lead the execution and project management of potential transactions—coordinate teams of bankers, legal counsel, and tax advisors; conduct due diligence processes; and actively participate in negotiations regarding legal documentation

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• Ideally, you have 1–3 years of experience working in investment banking or a similar/relevant role; promising recent graduates will also be considered
• An undergraduate degree from a reputable institution and a proven track record of strong academic performance
• Solid financial analysis skills, with the ability to quickly produce accurate presentation materials
• Adaptable, able to seamlessly transition between multiple subject areas
• Strong communication skills and a team player
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with team members and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Driven and creative, with exemplary integrity
• Fluent in English and Korean
