You’ll be working in the Fixed Income Structuring team in London. Our role is to develop and execute innovative transactions that solve problems for clients in EMEA. This role combines both quantitative and qualitative skills. The successful structurer will develop a broad understanding of the fixed income asset class, our clients, and the ways we can help them achieve their goals.
Tasks
We’re looking for someone who can:
- Work on the pricing, execution, and documentation of complex fixed-income derivative transactions.
- Develop and price new trade ideas. Conduct customized payoff modeling and risk analysis for structured notes and OTC products.
- Optimize and automate the desk’s infrastructure (customized pricers, analysis tools, automated pricing runs, and trade processes).
- Work efficiently, collaboratively, and inclusively with colleagues in sales, trading, and other areas of the firm.
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Experience in and understanding of financial markets and structuring transactions preferred
- Knowledge of derivative modeling and pricing.
- Knowledge of macro and fixed-income products.
- A master’s degree or doctorate from a leading university in a quantitative or economics/business discipline.
- The ability to communicate confidently, accurately, and fluently in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Proficiency in a programming language is preferred.
- The integrity and judgment required to hold a regulated front-office role at a major investment bank.
