As a member of the EMEA Fixed Income Division (FID) COO team, you will be joining a world-class dynamic, collaborative and fast-paced sales & trading business. The team works closely with EMEA FID management across rates, FXEM, credit, structured products and commodities businesses in setting and implementing regional strategy, driving growth and efficiency initiatives and the day-to-day running of the business.

Tasks

As a member of the EMEA FID COO team, you will work closely with EMEA FID management on

  • setting and implementing regional strategy, incl. growth initiatives
  • tracking performance, resource usage and competitor intelligence
  • identifying and implementing opportunities to increase efficiencies
  • preparing analysis and materials for meetings with business leadership, firm management and external stakeholders
  • driving priorities for senior management as they arise

You will be partnering with colleagues from individual FID businesses, infrastructure and control functions to deliver EMEA FID priorities and represent FID in Firm-wide projects.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in STEM or economics
  • Commitment to delivery of highest quality work product; strong attention to detail
  • Proactive, self-motivated, goal oriented, and organized; superior sense of ownership
  • Desire to contribute to a team environment that balances individual initiative and team accomplishments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Skills That Will Help You In The Role

  • Experience in successfully navigating complexity in a front-office environment e.g. as part of a deal team or structurer
  • Familiarity with financial statements, capital or liquidity calculations
  • Excel /Power BI, business writing, presentation skills
