The Financial Accounting & Reporting Officer will support finance activities across financial control and reporting, including monitoring the Bank’s income, costs, and overall financial position. You will contribute to accurate financial and regulatory reporting in accordance with internal governance and local regulatory requirements.
Tasks
- Accurately record financial transactions in the accounting systems to support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities
- Review and monitor the Bank’s financial performance, highlighting key trends and drivers
- Prepare and/or assist with the submission of financial regulatory reports to local regulators, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, responding to audit inquiries and providing supporting documentation as required
- Assist in the preparation of direct and indirect tax reporting
- Support business and finance colleagues with key deliverables and ad hoc requests from management, regulators, and internal stakeholders
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Strong analytical skills with well-developed problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure with strong organizational skills, delivering accurate results by tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively within a professional team and support multiple stakeholders
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
- Experience with financial reporting standards and/or regulatory reporting requirements in the financial services sector is a plus
- Partially qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA) or proven experience in the financial services sector is a plus
