The Finance France team comprises 70 people across each of the business lines, including accounting, regulatory affairs, management control, treasury, and ALM.
We are seeking a Finance & Project Manager.
Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, he or she will join a team of 30 people based in Paris and Marseille across business units and specialized centers (cost, reporting/consolidation, tax, procurement, and cross-functional), where he or she will play an active role.
Tasks
The Finance & Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Overseeing the preparation of annual and projected financial statements for French entities and contributing to ad hoc reports (BALO, CSRD)
- Coordinating the preparation of consolidated financial statements (at two levels) on a quarterly basis and preparing deliverables for the boards of directors.
- Managing the implementation project for the Group Reporting tool in collaboration with Group Finance.
- Serving as the key point of contact to support and train counterparts in France, Belgium, Monaco, Luxembourg, and Italy on the Group Reporting tool. There are frequent interactions with the Group (day-to-day operations and projects).
- Coordinating the preparation of the annual consolidated financial statements (in French and English)
- Active participation in accounting and finance projects (optimization, transformation, and implementation)
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
He or she will be able to take the initiative to support the evolution of existing processes in collaboration with various stakeholders within the company, including top management. He or she will be driven by a commitment to continuous improvement, proposing increasingly efficient and targeted processes and controls. He or she possesses a high degree of versatility to operate in a complex and demanding environment.
Required Education and Skills:
D.S.C.G. and significant experience (10–15 years), or a Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting with a concentration in Control and Audit (CCA)
6–8 years of experience in financial consolidation, including:
- Changes in equity
- Scope-of-consolidation effects
- Excellent command of SAP FC
- Fluency in English (essential)
- Strong adaptability and ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to provide technical and business analyses
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and integrated accounting software
- Knowledge of the banking sector is an advantage
