Provide Business Partnership support to the EMEA Distribution and Global Marketing organizations, helping them drive the business forward toward Invesco’s strategic goals. Ensure these businesses stay within their budgets and that their forecasts remain accurate and up to date. Support the business in assessing the profitability of new business initiatives.

Tasks

  • Analyzing trends in key financial performance indicators for the EMEA distribution business (including flows, AUM, revenues, net revenue yield, and ANNR). Investigating and explaining any variances from the plan. Ensuring that forecasts for these metrics remain accurate.
  • Assisting the business in analyzing new business opportunities for profitability (e.g., digital partnerships) and reviewing the commercial terms of existing relationships to ensure ongoing profitability.
  • Ensuring that the expenses of the EMEA Distribution business and the Global Marketing organization remain within budget and that the forecast remains accurate. Assisting leaders of these businesses in understanding their cost base and communicating any emerging trends or budget variances.
  • Assisting Corporate Finance with analysis, commentary, and queries regarding the financial performance of EMEA Distribution and Global Marketing.
  • Providing analysis to support various key stakeholders in the region (including Product, e.g., for the annual Value Assessment exercise and the annual Investment Association Survey data request).
  • Annual expense planning for the EMEA Distribution and Global Marketing organizations.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Qualified accountant with experience in a fast-paced financial services organization. ACA experience in the following areas is particularly desirable: working in FP&A at a global asset management firm with offshore partners and developing expertise in applying AI to boost productivity.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • An understanding of the personal investment landscape within EMEA (e.g., different types of investment products, emerging trends, major platforms, etc.) would be advantageous.
  • Confident, professional, and friendly in demeanor, with the ability to be self-motivated, organized, and flexible.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
