We are a dynamic cross-functional team which acts in the core of risk management, dedicated to servicing our (senior) management with essential ESG information. We continuously enhance our ESG data analytics and calculation infrastructure to support informed decision-making.

Tasks

  • Perform ESG calculations and reporting focused on climate risk for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop, maintain, and operate in-house ESG infrastructure.
  • Integrate ESG infrastructure into other RBI internal processes.
  • Ensure seamless user experience in ESG calculation and reporting operations.
  • Continuously monitor regulatory and external standards development, and peer best practices to enhance knowledge.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative portfolio analysis from ESG perspectives.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis for (senior) stakeholders and external supervisors/auditors.
  • Participate actively in strategic projects in the ESG area.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • University degree in risk, finance, IT with a quantitative background, or similar education
  • Solid understanding of banking business models, products, and ESG domain knowledge (CSRD, PCAF Standard, EU Taxonomy, EBA guidelines on ESG risks, EBA ITS Pillar 3, SREP Short-term exercise – Climate risks)
  • Solid technical skills in SQL (e.g., Oracle PL-SQL), data modeling, Python, Git, modern BI tools (e.g., Power BI), and Microsoft Office suite; experience with CI/CD is a plus
  • Demonstrated analytical skills with experience in data analysis and data mining within the banking sector
  • Agile mindset with a proactive approach, high motivation, and ambition to learn, shape, and teach
  • Effective communication skills and strong team collaboration
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in German and additional languages is a plus
