We are currently seeking to recruit an Equity Trader (f/m/d) with a strong focus on quantitative approaches and analytical skills.
The role will span a broad range of responsibilities, including trading equity and derivatives orders for our portfolio management teams, advising internal clients, monitoring markets and market structures, as well as further developing trading tools.
While your primary task is execution trading, this specific position is designed to strengthen the equity trading platform by building scalable, data-driven capabilities that enhance trading results and generate actionable insights to improve trading strategies.
You will join a highly experienced Equity Trading Team at one of the world’s leading asset managers and will work closely with portfolio managers, traders in other locations, and our data and technology teams.
Tasks
- Result-driven execution of equity and derivatives orders as part of the investment process
- Supporting AGI’s portfolio management teams and other internal stakeholders on trading-related matters
- Development of trading analytics and data-driven decision support tools in close collaboration with experienced traders and developers
- Continuous improvement of trading processes
- Building and maintaining relationships with counterparties, system providers, and exchanges

- Practical coding and data analytics skills, preferably including Python, SQL, or comparable technologies
- Analytical mindset
- Strong team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative trading desk environment
- Excellent communication skills with full professional proficiency in English and German
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field
