As an Associate Director in the Corporate Structured Finance team, you will be involved in the origination, structuring, and execution of complex financing transactions and the optimization of capital structures for Austrian and international corporations.

You will work in a dynamic, project-oriented investment banking environment and collaborate closely with colleagues from local and international product teams such as Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Sector/M&A Teams, Export Finance, and Treasury Solutions.

You will participate in the entire financing process, from the origination and initial presentation of financing options to the client, through credit risk assessment, negotiation of terms, credit application, internal decision-making discussions, documentation, and closing.

Tasks

  • Lead the structuring and execution of corporate financings, acquisition financings, and event-driven financings for Austrian and international corporate clients
  • Prepare and present credit documents, financial models, and transaction materials to internal committees and external stakeholders, including clients
  • Identify, review, and critically assess all credit-related aspects of a transaction
  • Lead the documentation process for a transaction, including interacting with clients, lawyers, and other external stakeholders in negotiating and drafting legal documentation
  • Supervise junior team members in financial modeling, credit analysis, and basic documentation tasks
  • Monitor market trends and maintain up-to-date knowledge of debt capital markets and corporate finance activity
  • Proactively assist Managing Directors and Directors in deal origination

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

  • Strong academic background in finance, economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • A minimum of 5 years of corporate finance experience, including at least 3 years in acquisition finance, leveraged finance, or related structured lending roles at an investment or corporate bank
  • Proven track record in executing corporate or event-driven financings
  • Advanced financial modeling and credit analysis skills
  • Deep understanding of capital structures, debt instruments, and LMA documentation
  • Relevant experience in supervising and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

We tailor your total compensation package based on your experience and expertise. In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement and based on a 38.5-hour workweek including overtime, the minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 68,800.
