Tasks
In a highly competitive and rapidly changing environment, you will be responsible for developing strategic business corridors within Global Network Banking and ensuring that HSBC is positioned as the leading international corporate bank. You will report to the Head of Global Network Banking in France.
- Manage corridors with growth potential within Global Network Banking in France.
- Provide regional oversight across Continental Europe’s Global Network Banking for the China corridor, working closely with relevant GRB teams and in-country GNB CE teams to drive new referrals, deepen wallet share with key clients, and manage risks and issues that may arise from time to time.
- Lead a team of Relationship Managers (RMs), Business Support staff, and an Analyst dedicated to this corridor, and encourage collaboration and interaction across teams.
- Manage risks and ensure alignment with internal compliance policies.
- Define and drive the commercial strategy for services and products, leveraging the HSBC network.
- Embed excellence in client relationships by offering services and products tailored to client needs, leveraging the HSBC network, anticipating future needs, and building trusted client relationships.
- Ensure sustainable growth of the client base.
- Serve as the go-to expert for the relevant corridor for both clients and the HSBC network.

- Proven track record in driving cross-border collaboration
- Solution-oriented with a focus on operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of the relevant regions, industries, and key companies
- Experience in corporate banking, including credit assessment, is required; international experience is a plus.
- Experience managing and growing a portfolio of clients headquartered in Asia or the Middle East will be an asset
- Fluent in English, Chinese, and eventually French.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey and present complex information clearly, concisely, and accurately
