Tasks
- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, in particular under MiCAR, MiFID, and PSD II.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, providing guidance to the business on necessary compliance adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, including training and awareness programs.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and documentation to ensure timely compliance with reporting obligations.
- Support the business in obtaining and maintaining necessary licenses and regulatory approvals in Austria.
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- University degree in law, business administration, finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of EU and preferably Austrian compliance frameworks and regulations applicable to investment, crypto, and payments firms.
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in legal or compliance roles in financial services firms, fintech or regulatory authorities in Austria or the EU.
- Excellent English skills are required, German skills are preferred.
