Operations ensure the secure and efficient processing of Pictet’s banking transactions and investment funds. Our teams ensure that all activities comply with regulations and manage risks. By developing and maintaining a modern, robust infrastructure, we guarantee reliable, high-quality services for Pictet’s wealth management, asset management, and real estate clients.

This function is part of the department, within the unit.

Tasks

The scope of the role is to oversee the entire workflow, from trade processing and data analysis to life-cycle data management and instrument pricing. The scope of assets includes mutual funds, hedge funds, and private equity.

  • Integration and control of asset openings in our global platform Neoxam through prospectus analysis and identification of investment strategies and trading conditions,..
  • Contact our external service providers Vestima and Telekurs
  • Implement the necessary settings for queries and data/pricing flows for securities newly registered in our systems from our various financial information providers (Bloomberg, SIX).
  • Search for this information regarding newly added securities in our system and provide the assistance requested by the various users of these prices (investment fund accountants, valuers, administrators, asset managers, wealth managers, etc.).
  • Update the prices (final and/or estimated NAV) of fund units based on all available information (statements, emails, websites, data feed providers, stock market quotes, etc.).
  • Performing the necessary validations using control files (Variations, Impact NAV, No Load, Stale Price, etc.)
  • Liaise directly with our key stakeholders in the event of an issue.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

Required experience:

  • Finance-oriented education (BAC+2/3).
  • Initial experience in fund pricing would be an asset

Knowledge / technical skills:

  • Good knowledge of financial products in general and hedge funds in particular
  • Good knowledge of financial information providers.
  • Proficient user of Office software applications.

Soft skills:

  • Driven and capable of taking the initiative to solve problems.
  • An inquisitive mind with strong learning skills and a well-developed critical thinking ability.
  • Accuracy and thoroughness in researching the information needed to value securities.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and find win-win solutions.

Language skills:

  • French: fluent
  • English: good knowledge (written and spoken)
