FORUM Family Office manages a German family’s assets according to the principles of value investing as established by Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett. At the heart of our investment strategy is a concentrated portfolio of 10–12 companies whose quality and prospects we firmly believe in.
Our competitive advantage lies in fundamental equity analysis, which encompasses extensive field research (interviews) and a fact-based culture of discussion—not opinions, but facts. This requires fully committed professionals with the highest work ethic. Our historical total shareholder return (TSR) is 12% per annum.

Tasks

• Screening your investment universe—primarily within a defined region—to generate ideas
• Meetings with the management of potential and existing portfolio companies, as well as documentation of these meetings through supplementary research
• Due diligence on potential investment candidates based on fundamental stock analysis, including fieldwork, interviews, and financial modeling
• Monitoring our existing investments

You will participate in all team discussions and be fully involved in the decision-making process.

Profile / Your qualification / Your personality

• Entrepreneurial acumen—the ability to identify high-quality (i.e., franchise) businesses and assess their medium- and long-term development
• Financial intelligence (“FinIQ”) – the ability to recognize profit potential amid a wealth of numbers and unstructured information
• People skills – the ability to “read” people and understand the influence of incentive systems and corporate governance structures
• A strong work ethic and high standards of performance

Ideally, you have acquired these skills through 3–8 years of professional experience in the investment industry—preferably at a leading company and/or with a proven track record. In addition to English, you should be fluent in another European language.
