The Treasury department is responsible for market-related business and encompasses sales, trading, and banking functions. We are seeking a sales representative to manage business activities for non-Japanese clients, with a primary focus on Korean companies. As a Japanese bank, our client base consists mostly of Japanese companies; however, we have a clear objective to expand our business with non-Japanese clients in the future. In recent years, we have placed greater emphasis on cross-border and onshore/offshore business, and from this perspective, we regularly collaborate with other APAC treasury teams, including those in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Tokyo. Tasks
- Execute transactions and provide advisory services for foreign exchange and derivatives products to clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships by efficiently and professionally addressing customer inquiries and requests.
- Ensure effective risk management by adhering to all relevant internal policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Support various tasks and initiatives related to the Treasury/Sales teams and regional operations as needed.
- Prepare and deliver regular client reports and presentations, and participate in client meetings and events, including occasional on-site engagements.
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in Treasury Sales, demonstrating a strong track record in managing client portfolios, structuring treasury solutions, and driving business growth
- CDIA (Certified Derivatives Investment Analyst) certification is required for this role.
- VBA skills are highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a dynamic, results-driven, and sales-oriented mindset.
- Demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a high sense of responsibility.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all deliverables.
- Motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively under pressure.
