As part of HSBC in Luxembourg, you’ll help evolve and grow our securities services business. Do you have a solid understanding of CSSF regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations? Are you proficient in applying relevant accounting frameworks, including IFRS and Lux GAAP? Do you have demonstrable experience in investment fund financial reporting, including the preparation and review of statutory and regulatory reporting deliverables?

Tasks
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, you will co-lead and coordinate financial reporting activities across a portfolio of entities administered by HSBC Continental Europe, Luxembourg.
- Co-lead the Financial Reporting team.
- Ensure that financial statements and other reports are prepared in accordance with required standards, meeting all reporting requirements and deadlines.
- Provide support and guidance to the Luxembourg team and external service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Provide consulting services on the implementation of traditional, alternative, and private asset structures.
- Oversee and manage all outsourced processes.
- Oversee the reporting process and manage communication with the CSSF, as required.
Profile / Your qualification / Your personality
- Extensive experience in financial reporting for investment funds, with a solid understanding of general fund accounting.
- Up-to-date understanding of CSSF regulatory requirements and relevant accounting standards, including the latest IFRS and Lux GAAP as applied to investment funds.
- Thorough technical knowledge of accounting for securities and derivatives and/or funds of funds and/or private asset funds, with a strong grasp of fund structures (pooling, multi-class, feeder).
- Working knowledge of AIFMD and UCITS V requirements affecting fund operations and reporting.
- Proven ability to manage workloads, work efficiently and independently, and motivate a team to meet deadlines.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and Access, with hands-on experience using accounting systems; strong written and spoken English (German is a plus).
